Adella and I met up with my friend Julie at the mall. It was an interesting night. Here are some prayer request from the evening....
Levonne and Allecyia- they were already born again Christians and they actually go to the same church as Adella,but we didn't figure that out till later.We invited them to the Mark Cahill conference and encouraged them to come.
Indiana- A female..Maybe early 20's. She works at the mall and is a born-again christian so we also invited her to the conference.
Sarah,Sandy and Christina were all young girls...Sarah the oldest was a teen, and Christina was about Third Grade. So they have just begun going to a baptist church-Lake Hills in Schererville. We encouraged them to keep seeking God and read their bibles.
DJ and Kelly- a young dating couple, we went through the WDJD with them. DJ seemed to have a strong catholic backround, but Kelly didn't have much to say.Her family used to go to church but its been a long time. She didn't seem to take the message to heart. I strongly encouraged them to repent, trust and take sin serious, and also to read their bibles.
and last ...this is so exciting.!!!!
I was leaving to go home.....on my way out from Borders.........
I ran into someone I worked with two years ago and wanted to witness to. At that time...I was starting to ask God to help me learn how to properly witness to people, but he left the job before I was able to witness to him. So, here ,two years later I run into this guy and I am all trained and ready to witness!! He was glad to see me and welcomed a discussion from me on my "Evangelism Class" I went through it all with him. He listened intently. I saw some conviction, and he seamed to be effected. I found out that he has a pentecostal background . He
knows a lot about the bible but has been away from christian truths for a long time.He is living a very immoral life right now. I am so thankful that God gave me a "second chance" to witness to this young man. I care for him as if he were my own son. His name is Adam. Please pray fervently for him.
Another experience I had today..........
I received a call from someone seeking contributions for the police department, kind of like a telemarketer. I was in deep prayer when this call came...
I was like "OKAY, HERE IS MY CHANCE TO TRY THIS OUT ON THE PHONE!!", and the man talked to me very openly {I was shocked}. He wasn't too concerned about going to hell at first. He had a bad childhood and didn't think anyone cared about him at all! Well, I
was about ready to start balling. I told him about how much God loved him !! And all he should do. I didn't get his name..but please pray for him too.
I am so Amazed at God !!!!!! I can't praise Him enough for letting me take a part in Hiswork today !!
