My girls (Sarah and Allison) and I spent the day at Lansing's Illinois Annual Good Neighbor Day Parade. I grew up watching this parade but over the past 18yrs have been unable to attend due to work. I was able to make it this year with 2 of my 3 children. We loaded up on our Obama Tracts and headed out. My parents live on Ridge Road (the main road where the parade runs). So we traveled a couple of miles on one side of the road till we were half way through our tracts then crossed the street and headed back. We TOTALLY ran out. I brought around 600 tracts and between the three of us we handed them out in about 30 minutes. The Obama tracted worked VERY well. We approach people telling them that this was their "stimulous bill" and we had people with their hands out before we even got to them. Even the police officers were taking these tracts. We would then direct them to read the "gospel message" on the back. Please pray that the people would read the important information on the back of the tract and also would go to www.GotOurTract.com (we printed them on the tracts) for them to go and get a more detail gospel message. Pray that the Lord would open their hearts and minds to the Lords Saving Grace!

Second important information. For the first time in my life (over 40yrs) someone finally handed me a tract at this event. In fact, I received two tracts. One was from an older lady from a church (more of a church tract) that had a watered down gospel on it. But the second was a million dollar bill tract similiar to mine with a full gospel presentation on it. I was very encouraged as this lady was not doing it with anyone or for any church. She just wanted to share the gospel and was out handing out tracts. We had great conversation. I recommended her to check out our ministries website and encouraged her. It was a wonderful day and may GOD GET ALL THE GLORY!!!
